Yvonne K. Haislar

Yvonne K. Haislar, 50, of Spring, TX, formerly of Highland, IL died Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Tucson, AZ.

Yvonne was born December 5, 1967, to Frederick J. “Fritz” and Sally M. (nee Schneider) Haislar, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland, IL.

She was a graduate of Highland High School and graduated from Washington University, St. Louis, MO in May 1990 with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Shortly after graduation, she relocated to the Houston area and for the last 20 years has worked with Exxon Mobil Chemical Company. Yvonne loved to travel, collect rocks and golf. She had season tickets to the Houston Astros and this past year, took her dad to 3 games during the World Series. Yvonne was a loving daughter and was dearly attached to her longtime little friend, Arnie, her black dachshund.

She is survived by her parents, Frederick “Fritz” and Sally Haislar, Highland, IL; little friend, Arnie.
