William H. "Bill" Owen IV

William H. “Bill” Owen IV, 63, of Highland, IL, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at home.

He was born on June 30, 1963, in East St. Louis, IL, to Wiliam H. Owen III and Juanita Susan (nee Boyle) Anderson.

Bill will be remembered for his big laugh, kind heart, and fun-loving personality.

Bill was a naturally gifted tradesman who could fix just about anything. His talents were even recognized while he was in high school through the VICA (now SkillsUSA) Vocational Program, where he was selected to represent his state.

The majority of Bill’s career was spent owning and operating his own flooring installation business. Through his work, he developed many close and lasting relationships with the people he worked alongside over the years.

Bill dearly loved his family and friends. His sense of humor, and love for those around him will be deeply missed. He will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Owen III; mother, Juanita Susan Anderson; and brother, Bryan Owen.

Bill is survived by his stepdad, Gary Anderson, Sr.; former wife and close friend, Marcia Owen; children, William H. “Billy” Owen V, Lindsay Owen, and Sabrina Owen; all his grandkids and a great grandchild; siblings, Michelle Hassebrock, Gary (Laurie) Anderson, Jr., and Kimberlee (Ron) Calvert; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
