Warren H. Barty

Warren H. Barty, 75, of Mascoutah, IL, died Monday, December 26, 2016, at the Mar Ka Nursing Home, Mascoutah, IL.

Warren was born August 31, 1941 in West Frankfort, IL and raised by his parents, Theodore and Lorene (Nee Gray) Wisniewski.

He graduated from West Frankfort Community High School in 1959, and from McKendree College in 1965. He was inducted into the McKendree College Sports Hall of Fame.   He played professional baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals’ and the San Francisco Giants’ organizations from 1961 to 1964. He was a Real Estate Broker in Illinois and Florida for 40 years.

Warren will be remembered for his commitment to and love of McKendree University. He will be missed by his many friends and teammates that he had over the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Lorene Wisnewski.

Memorial Service: Tuesday, January 3, 2017, 1:00 pm, at Bothwell Chapel, McKendree University, Lebanon, IL.

Interment: College Hill Cemetery.
