Warren G. Mocaby

Warren G. Mocaby, 73, of Highland, IL died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at his residence.

Warren was born November 13, 1942, to Thornton Gene and Neva Munsell Mocaby in West Frankfort, IL. On May 9, 2009, he married Karen Rehkemper.

He was a member of Highland Hope United Methodist Church. Warren loved his family, especially his grandkids. He was an avid fisherman and a St. Louis Cardinals fan. He also enjoyed bowling. He had a special love for living and could always be found tinkering in the garage, taking care of his home and everyone he loved, including his animals.

He is survived by his Wife, Karen Rehkemper, Highland, IL; Children, Ward (Tara) Mocaby, Wichita, KS; Jada (Erik Vandy) Mocaby, Valparaiso, IN; Jennifer Mocaby, Lafayette, IN; Krista (Adam) Ybarra, Wichita, KS; Grandchildren, Karson Mocaby, Tyler Buchanan, Javan Buchanan, Bryant Mocaby, Jared Mocaby; Great-Grandchildren, Jordan Andrew Ortiz;

Sister, Judy Jovi, Greenville, IL; Brothers, Chuck (Judy) Mocaby, Gillespie, IL; Jerry Mocaby, Highland, IL; Sister-in-Law, Tenna Mocaby, Du Quion, IL.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Thornton Gene and Neva Munsell Mocaby; Brother, Tim Mocaby.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes and Heart Association.

Visitation: Sunday, July 31, 2016, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL, and Monday, August 1, 2016 from 8:00 to 10:00 am, at Highland Hope United Methodist Church, Highland, IL.

Funeral Service: Monday, August 1, 2016, at 10:00 am, at Highland Hope United Methodist Church.
