Thomas “Tom” Kelly

Thomas "Tom" Kelly, 72, of Lebanon, IL died July 22, 2009 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.  He was born in Wisconsin on September 15, 1936 to William and Beatrice, nee Dehn, Kelly.  In August, 1957, he married Elaine Nebuloni and that marriage ended in divorce.   He then married Janet (Norris) McNutt on June 19, 1989 in Bothwell Chapel, McKendree College, Lebanon, IL.

He is survived by his wife Janet Kelly of Lebanon, IL;  4 children: Patricia Fussner, St. Louis, MO; Christopher Kelly, St. Louis, MO;  Connie (Steve) Berry - St. Louis, MO; Melissa (Kenneth) Lease, Belleville, IL; 2 Step-Children: Erin (Tom) Wentzien, Los Gatos, CA; Enid (Shane) Staten, St. Louis, MO; 10 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister - Kathleen (Larry) Hillebrand, Buffalo, N.Y.  Several Nieces and Nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his Parents and 1 Sister - Fran Wyers.

He taught 37 years of high school History and English retiring from Normandy Senior High School, St. Louis, Mo.   He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lebanon, IL and the Ret'd Teachers' Association.

VISITATION:  Monday, July 27, 2009 - 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lebanon, IL.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL:  Monday, July 27th at St. Joseph Church - 10:00 A.M. with Fr. Gene Neff officiating.   Burial in College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.
