Thelma R. “Peggy” Beutler

Thelma R. “Peggy” Beutler, 84, of Lebanon, IL, died December 21, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Peggy was born June 4, 1928, to Jerry and Elva Corinne (Nee Mooneham) Podesva, in Bellville, IL. On August 14, 1958 she married Elmer P. Beutler, in Lebanon, IL.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In her early years she worked at the Lebanon Hat Factory. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by 5 children, Darrell Beutler, Lebanon, IL, Matthew Beutler, Lebanon, IL, Carla Holt, Rantoul, IL, Cecelia (Tom) Henderson, Swansea, IL, Marc Beutler, Lebanon, IL; 4 grandchildren, Melissa (Jacob) Day, William Holt, Clara Holt, Andrew Holt; 2 great-grandchildren, John Day, Sophie Holt; 1 brother, Jerome (Corrine) Podesva; niece and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Elva Podesva; her husband, Elmer Beutler; 1 brother, Glenn Podesva.

Memorials may be made to the family or St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation: Wednesday, December 26, 2012, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL.

Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lebanon, IL.

Interment: St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lebanon, IL
