Terry Lee Cook

Terry L. Cook, 78, of West Frankfort, IL, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Terry was born on February 10, 1948 to Edward and Loretta (Brown) Platt in St. Louis, Mo. She married Lewis R. Cook Sr. in 1979 at Odin, IL. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2005.

Terry had worked at North American Lighting and Hella in Flora. She was also a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for her family during the Holidays and taking care of her grandchildren. She cherished the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by three daughters Kathy Milner, Kimberly (Ron) Walter and Kelly Byrd; four sons Gerald (Sheila) Springmeyer, Jeffrey (Angie) Springmeyer, J.J.(Dennis) Gebert and Tyler Harrison; twenty-two grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; a sister Toni Kanell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, a son Michael Springmeyer, and one granddaughter Nicole Springmeyer, her sisters Loretta Miller, Audrey Winfree and Carrie Phipps.

Visitation: Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, IL.

Funeral Service: Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 12:00pm at the funeral home.

Burial: Will follow in Cisne Cemetery.

Memorial donations in memory of Terry may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
