Terry L. Bohnstadt

Terry L. Bohnstadt, 62, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Anderson Hospital, in Maryville, IL.

He was born on March 3, 1963, to John and Diane (nee Wysaki) Bohnstadt in Michigan City, IN.

Terry was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in fishing, hunting, and golfing with his friends. He loved spending time camping with his children and taking them out on his boat, creating countless cherished memories together. A biker since the age of sixteen, Terry had a lifelong love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and took great pride in working on and riding his bike.

A skilled handyman and talented carpenter, there was little Terry couldn’t fix. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends, never hesitating when someone needed him. He was also an enthusiastic racing fan, from stock cars to NASCAR, and especially looked forward to attending Monster Jam each year with his children and grandson.

Above all, Terry truly loved his family and friends. His kindness, laughter, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Bohnstadt; and beloved dog, Blue.

Terry is survived by his mother, Diane Bohnstadt; sister, Tammy Bohnstadt; children, Melanie Tuttle and Jonathan Bohnstadt; grandchild, Quentin Tuttle; mother of his children, Janet Bohnstadt; Tori Spencer, whom he loved as a daughter; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loving friends.

Visitation: Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.
