Susan Kunz

Susan M. Kunz, 70, of Lebanon, IL, died Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Cedar Ridge Health & Rehab, in Lebanon, IL.

Susan was born August 15, 1950 to Raymond and Nidra (nee Widicus) Fohne, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, in Belleville, IL.  On November 24, 1972, she married Fred Kunz at St. Paul UCC, Lebanon, IL.

Susan was a member of St. Paul UCC, Lebanon, IL.  A very active member, she helped with many dinners and other fundraisers.

Susan loved her family, especially nurturing her grandchildren.  She was a selfless giver, caretaker, and backbone of the family.  There was always extra food in her home, making sure no one left hungry.  The last to be seated, she always wanted to make sure everyone had all they needed.  She was a true servant to others, living to assist others with their needs, whether at home or elsewhere.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Nidra Fohne.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Kunz, Lebanon, IL; children, Jeff (Angela) Kunz, Louisville, KY, Jason (Sheryl) Kunz, Lebanon, IL, Jeremy (Kayla) Kunz, Evansville, IN, Justin (Kimberly) Kunz, Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Ariel Kunz, Zach Carter, Devin Woosley, Navi Woosley, Callie Kunz, Avalynn Kunz, Sophia Kunz, Harrison Kunz, Lainey Kunz, Ezra Kunz, and soon to arrive, Baby Oscar Kunz; siblings, Thomas (Susan) Fohne, Columbia, IL and Jane (Robert) Wilhelm, Lebanon, IL; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul UCC or the Lebanon Education Foundation.

Visitation: Sunday, April 11, 2021, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, at St. Paul UCC, Lebanon, IL.

Interment: Monday, April 12, 2021, 11:15 AM, College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.
