Shirley Kay Brach

Shirley Kay Brach, 72, of Cisne, IL. passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN.

Shirley was born January 16, 1951, in Fairfield, IL. to Ernest and Geneva (Ellis) Gregory. Shirley married Fred T. Brach on March 4, 1972, and he preceded her in death on October 23, 2012.

Shirley was employed at Help at Home and was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church for over fifty years. Shirley loved quilting with friends and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include sons, Michael (Jamie) Brach of Cisne, and Stephen (Jennifer) Brach of Olney; six grandchildren; Dalyn (Brianne) Brach of Olney, Kiersen Brach, of Olney, Conner, Trevor, Spencer and Allie Brach of Cisne; Great grandchildren Jensen and Evelyn Brach of Olney; sisters Barbara (Richard) Ruckman and Kathy Smith; Brother-in-law Everette Griswold, Brother-in-law Charles (Connie) Brach, and several nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Fred, parents, mother-in-law Margie Brach, sister Sharon Griswold, and brother-in-law Kevin Smith.

Graveside services will be held Friday, August 11, 2023, at 11:00am at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Pleasant Grove Church and will be accepted at the graveside or accepted at the funeral home.
