Obituary for Sandra Mae Miller of Mountain Home, Arkansas

This is the time to say goodbye and celebrate the extraordinary life of Sandy Miller who passed away in Mountain Home, Arkansas on May 11 ^th . Sandy was born in Chicago on February 16,1944, the daughter of Gene and Birdie (Hornstein) Over. She married Fred Miller on June 29, 1991.

Sandy worked at Prudential Insurance in Chicago for many years and later worked at the local hospital in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She will be remembered for her many acts of kindness and generosity. She earned a reputation for her unselfish giving to others, her commitment to her husband Fred, and always putting the needs of others before her own. Even during her last hours, she was asking what she could do for family and friends. Sandy asked very little for herself and gave so much.

Sandy is survived by her husband Fred, her son Jamie Brown, her brother Bob Over, her Aunt Irma Over, Uncle Doug (Ida) Over, her cousins Genelle Benner, Ron Olsen and Hugh Hornstein, and her beloved dog, Ginger. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandparents Lida (Henderson) Over and Virgil (Sara Bennett) Over.

Sandy will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery in Albion, IL on May 2ih at 10am, alongside family members. Pastor Tom Cater will be officiating the service.
