Ruth K. Guenther

Ruth K. Guenther ( Nee Krump), 92, of Aviston, formerly of Lebanon, IL, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Countryside Manor, Aviston, IL.  She was born November 26, 1917 to George and Elsie (Nee Wright) Krump.  On September 25, 1940, she married Andrew Guenther in Manchester, MO.

She worked at Scott Air Force Base, as a civil servant, doing clerical work with a focus on history.  She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL, Rebecca Lodge, and VFW Auxiliary.  Ruth loved bowling and other sports.

Ruth is survived by: Her husband, Andrew C. “Andy” Guenther, and many dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her sister Marguerite Iglasius.

Service:  Private family service was held.
