Ruth C. Neill (Nee Hunter)

RUTH C. NEILL (NEE HUNTER), 89, of Lebanon, IL, died Friday, October 7, 2011, at her residence.

She was born November 14, 1921 in Lawrence, Kansas to Lauren and Mary Ethel (nee Cory) Hunter.   She married Loren W. Neill and he died May 22, 1990.

She is survived by: 1 son, Scott (Julie) Neill, Lebanon, IL.  5 grandchildren - Danay (Michael) Di Virgilio, Hermosa Beach, Calif.

Joy (Douglas) Purver, New York, NY.  Nathan Copeland, Seattle, Wash.   Wilson Neill, Lebanon, IL, Alan Neill, Lebanon, IL; 1 son-in-law, Charles Copeland, Fairview Heights, IL.

Preceded in death by:  her parents, her husband, one son, Houston Neill, one daughter, Nancy Copeland, three sisters - Marie Swaim, Bea Jella, Marion Hunter.

Ruth was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lebanon, IL, member of the Board at Lebanon Public Library, and served as "story lady" at the library for 25 years, Lebanon Senior Citizens and the organization known as Young at Heart.

VISITATION:  Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 5:00 - 8:00 at the Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL and Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, Lebanon, IL from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

FUNERAL:  Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church with the Rev. Peter J. Wehrly, Pastor, and Rev. John Grob officiating.

BURIAL:   Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO
