Ronald Melvin Naumer, 86, of St. Charles, Mo., passed away on September 9, 2018, at his home.
Ron was born on August 29, 1932, in Lebanon, IL.
Ron was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He served in the U.S. Air Force, honorably discharged at the rank of captain in 1957. He retired in 1993 from McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis after a 36-year career as an aeronautical engineer.
Ron was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Ferguson, Mo.
Ron was preceded in death by his first wife, Carole Sue Naumer (nee Widicus); parents Vera (nee Frey) and Arnold Naumer; and brother, Dale.
Surviving are his wife, Joanne (Gladney) Naumer; two daughters, Lorry (Chris) Watkins of Aurora, Co., and Tammy Weidinger of St. Peters, Mo., and son, Brad (Pam) Naumer of Arnold, Mo; seven grandchildren, Daniel and Mathew Watkins, Christy Brooks, Eric and Gretchen Weidinger, and Emily and Katherine Naumer; and three great-grandchildren, Carter and Kendall Brooks, and Sophia Watkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation (parkinson.org) or Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (alzfdn.org).
