Ronald L. “Ronnie” Griesbaum

Ronald L. “Ronnie” Griesbaum, 53, of Lebanon, IL, died Friday, August 19, 2016 at his home with his family by his side.

Ronnie was born August 15, 1963, to Donald and Laurine (Nee Willmann) Griesbaum, in Breese, IL.  On August 14, 1993, he married Beverly Rutherford at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL.

He was a street laborer for City of Lebanon, IL and worked on a farm.  He loved his family and especially his daughters.  Ronnie liked fishing, watching football, sports, rides in the country and the outdoors in general.  He enjoyed working, whether it was cutting grass, farming, for the city or with plants, just about anything that involved the outdoors.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Laurine Griesbaum; father-in-law, Charles “Fritz” Rutherford.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Griesbaum, Lebanon, IL; daughters, Sarah (Angie Alexander) Gray, South St. Louis, MO, Rachel Gray, Lebanon, IL, Rebecca (boyfriend, Cody Wanserski) Griesbaum, Lebanon, IL; brother, Richard (Sandy) Griesbaum, Waterloo, IL; mother-in-law, Charlene Rutherford, Lebanon, IL; nephews, Justin (Anna) Griesbaum, Andrew (Erica) Griesbaum; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or St. Paul United Church of Christ

Visitation: Monday, August 22, 2016, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Tuesday, August 23, 2016, from 8:00 to 10:00 am at Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL.

Funeral: Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at 10:00 am at Meyer Funeral Home.
