Roger D. Weiss

Roger D. Weiss, 72, of Caseyville, IL, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024.

He was born April 24, 1952, to the late Dale and Anna Mae Weiss. He graduated from O’Fallon TWP High School in 1970, was elected to Pi Mu Epsilon by his professors in 1975, and received a BS in Mathematics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 1976. He worked in the service industry his entire work life. He enjoyed fishing, shooting, and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Anna Mae (nee Landa) Weiss; and grand-dogs, Sasha and Sophie.

Roger is survived by his daughters, Jessica (Marvin “Chip”) Darling, Kayla Weiss; twin brother, Robert (Lana) Weiss; granddaughters, Madison Humphreys, McKenzie Humphreys; grand-dogs, Jordi, Demi, Sonny; nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.

Memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society.

Visitation: Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at the Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

Service: Wednesday, December 11, 2024, 10:00 AM, Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

Interment: St. John’s Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.
