Richard L. Etzkorn

Richard L. Etzkorn, 59, of West Salem, IL passed away on Tuesday August 8th, 2023. He was born November 16th, 1963, in Mt. Carmel, IL to Patty Kay (Swanson) Etzkorn. Rick married Yvonne (Fildes) on April 15th, 2007, in the First Baptist church of Albion, and she survives.

Rick worked at Walmart D.C. #6059 and served in the National Guard, 3rd of the 116th – 29th Infantry Division in Woodstock, VA.

Rick was a member of the First Baptist Church of Albion.

Rick was preceded in death by his mother Patty Kay, step-father Raymond Etzkorn, and sister Georgia Martin.

He is survived by his wife; Yvonne, 1 son; Daniel Etzkorn, 2 daughters; Laura (Tim) Phillips and Deana (Jeremy) Williamson, sister; Misty (Steve) Pearson, brother; Steve (Nora) Etzkorn, 7 grandchildren; Zachary, Nathan, Triston, Alexis, Elliott, Hazel, and Maddie.

Memorials may be made to the Edwards County Schools for past due lunch bills.
