Richard A. Bersin

Richard A. Bersin, 76, of Highland, IL, died Saturday, October 23, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL.

He was born January 18, 1934, to Louis and Maude (Nee Schatte) Bersin, in St. Louis, MO.  On August 1, 1959, he married Barbara Brassfield, in St. Louis.

Richard owned and operated his own company, Cahokia Glass and Screen, for 30 years.  He loved his wife and family.  He loved fishing.

He is survived by: His Wife of 51 years, Barbara; 1 Son, Charles Bersin, Highland, IL; 1 Granddaughter, Carly Bersin, Waterloo, IL; 2 Sisters, Marion Bailey, Carol Ruelas.

He was preceded in death by: His Parents, Louis and Maude Bersin; 2 Brothers, Robert and William Bersin; 3 Sisters, Floy Stefanski, Doris Raymo, Gail Hoynacki.
