Reba S. Rodgers

Reba S. Rodgers, 85, of Fairfield, IL formerly of Cisne, IL passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Carmel, IL. 

She was born on February 25, 1941, at Cisne, IL to Roy and Callie (Tenney) Conard. She married Roy L. Rodgers on August 22, 1959, in Mt. Vernon, IL She was preceded in death by her husband Roy L. Rodgers July 19, 2008. 

Reba retired in 2001, from Airtex in Fairfield, IL. as a secretary in the Sales Department.

Reba was also a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and she always had dessert when you came to visit. She was a very caring person and wanted to take care of others before thinking of herself. She cherished her time that she spent with her grandson, Tyler. She was a constant loving, presence in his life and if he had a baseball game, she was there to cheer him on. She was a member of Blue Point Free Will Baptist Church in Cisne, IL.

Reba is survived by her daughter Jodi (Jim) Peach of Albion, IL; a grandson Tyler Peach of Albion; her sisters Norma Bunting of Fairfield, Betty Rodgers of Cisne, Maxine (Roger) Bennett of Amory, MS, and two sisters-in-law Kay Conard of Fairfield, and Mary Ann Conard of Big Spring, TX; also surviving are several nieces and nephews; and her special friends and her church family.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, brothers Charles Conard, Russell Conard, Ivan Conard and Loren Conard, sisters Elma Jones, Eileen Krutsinger, Mary Reed and Weta Forth. Willa and Bonnie Conard in infancy.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her friends and staff at Brookstone in Fairfield, IL, Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Carmel, and Residential Hospice. 

Visitation: Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 10:00am to 12:00pm at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, IL.

Funeral Service: Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 12:00pm at the funeral home.

Burial: Will follow in Cisne Cemetery. Memorial may be given to Blue Point Free Will Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
