Ralph Eugene Stark

Ralph Eugene Stark, 91, of Wayne City, Illinois, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

Ralph was born April 25, 1930, at Cisne, Illinois to Claude O. and Philena (Conard) Stark. He married Alberta Lucretia Croslin August 21, 1956, at Springfield, Tennessee.  She preceded him in death October 11, 2019.

Ralph was a retired maintenance employee of Wal-Mart at Fairfield, Illinois.  He previously worked at Caterpillar at Joliet, Illinois, and other places.  He was a member of the Church of God and liked to read, work on cars, and listen to the radio.

Ralph is survived by two daughters Donna Ratcliffe of Wayne City, Illinois, and Peggy (Danny) Hawthorne of Ramsey, Illinois.  Also surviving are three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife Alberta, two brothers Robert Stark and John Stark, and two sisters Thelma Porter and Marie Stanford.

Visitation:  There is no visitation

Graveside Service:  1:00 pm Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Cisne Cemetery.  Everyone attending the service is asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Memorials:  To the family and will be accepted at the Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home.
