Quinn Edward Hunley

Quinn Edward Hunley, 81, of West Salem, IL, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Helia Healthcare of Olney, IL.

He was born on November 25, 1940, in Noble, IL, to Edmund and Pauline (nee Murray) Hunley. Quinn married Glenna Perry on August 16, 1985, in West Salem, IL.

Quinn was a lifelong resident of West Salem, IL.  A lover of auctions; he was extremely interested in antiques and collectibles, having acquired multiple sad irons over the years.  Quinn had a big heart and loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.  He would often take his family on road trips, especially to Arizona.  Quinn was an all-around caring loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Pauline Hunley; sisters, Imogene Street, Emogene Varner, Linda Pittman, Shyann Haws, Nadine Hunley; brothers, Melvin Willard, Harvey Hunley; and grandson, James Hunley.

Quinn is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Glenna Hunley; children, Kevin Scott, Rodney Scott, Ranessa Hunley, Jeffrey Hunley; grandchildren, Joshua, Brittany, Michael, Jessica; great grandchildren, Xander, Avery, Makayla, Layton, Harper, Kinley, Izaac, Weston, Wade, Wyatt; and sister, Anabelle Huber.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.

Visitation:  Friday, September 2, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon), at Ingram Meridith Funeral Home, West Salem, IL.
