Paul E. Leiber

Paul E. Leiber, 88, of Lebanon, IL died April 15, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL.  He was born November 5, 1921 in Lebanon, IL to Frank and Pearl (nee Walker) Leiber.  He married Marcella Schulte August 17, 1953 at St. Joseph Rectory, Lebanon, IL and often commented "she was my only sweetheart".

E Motor co.  He was dedicated to his business.  He was a veteran serving in the US Army from 1943 - 1946 and a member of Trenton VFW.  Paul loved to travel.

Survived by:  Daughter-in-Law, Gayle Leiber, Freeburg, IL; Two Grandsons, Frank (Stephanie) Leiber, Belleville, IL, Christopher Leiber, Freeburg, IL; One Great-grandson, Grayson Leiber; Two Nieces, Barbara Schultz, Collinsville, IL; Brian Pijut, Highland, IL; Two Nephews, Carl (Sandy) Schulte, Highland, IL; Stephen (Laura) Neubling, St. Louis, MO; Two great Nephews, Gary Schultz, Chatham, IL; Stephen Schultz, Collinsville, IL.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Parents, Wife, one son, Paul Edward "Duke" Leiber, Jr;, one sister, Mildred Leiber.

VISITATION:  Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL.

FUNERAL SERVICES:  Monday, April 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Joy Cashetta, Pastor, First United Methodist Church, Lebanon, IL officiating.

INTERMENT:  College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL
