Patsy E. “Pat” Floyd

Patsy E. "Pat" Floyd, nee Scott, 55, of Pocahontas, IL died October 28, 2008 at Greenville Regional Hospital, Greenville, IL.  Pat was born in Aledo, IL on June 13, 1953 to Frank Donald and Merle Jean (Smith) Scott.  She was married to Michael M. Floyd and he survives.

Also survived by three sons and one daughter; Joshua Crawford, Pocahontas, IL; October Dawn (Jeff) Weiss, Pocahontas, IL; Michael (Brittany Ingles) Crawford, Pocahontas, IL and Michael H. Floyd of Sorrento, IL;  five grandchildren - Kayle, Nicholas, Caleb, Abbagail and Evan; three brothers, Donald Scott of Iowa; Larry Scott of Oregon and Russell (Sharon) Scott of Greenville, IL; one sister, Diane (Gary) Parker of Highland, IL and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Virgil Scott, and one great nephew, Kordell Coats.

Pat worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for many years at several nursing homes.

VISITATION:  10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 at Meridith Funeral Home in Pocahontas, IL.

FUNERAL:  Saturday, Nove. 1, 2008 at the Meridith Funeral Home in Pocahontas, IL with Rev. David Trover, Pastor, United Methodist Church, Pocahontas officiating.   Burial in Brown Cemetery, Old Ripley, IL.
