Pamela S. “Pam” Moore, 70, of Belleville, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville.
She was born on October 21, 1955, in East St. Louis, IL, to Milton and Ruth (nee Frazer) Moore.
Pam was a free spirit who loved to connect with nature. She was a dragon lover and storyteller. She used art as a form of creative expression, as well as a therapy tool. Pam lived with the quiet weight of mental illness for many years, meeting each day with courage even when the path was difficult. Though her passing was not caused by that struggle, we honor the truth of her journey and give thanks that she is now held in peace.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Milton and Ruth Moore; daughter, Hope Casper; and son, Jacob Casper.
Pam is survived by her daughter, Wendi (Carlos) Munguia; grandchildren, Miranda Munguia, Christian (Rachael) Munguia, and Noah Munguia; great grandchild, Sebastian Munguia; sisters, Deborah (Mike) Byrd, Kathy (William) Coffman, Angi Moore and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to organizations supporting mental health, such as NAMI, in the hope that others may find the support and understanding that Pam sought throughout her life.
