Orville D. Walker

Orville D. Walker, 77, of Pocahontas, IL, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his home.

He was born April 26, 1943 to Herschel Andrew “Andy” and Nellie (nee Orr) Walker, in E. St. Louis, IL. On October 16, 1962, he married Veronica “Bonnie” Naeve in E. St. Louis, IL.

Orville was a first and foremost a truck driver for his career. Later, he joined the Teamsters Union Local 50, and became a member of the Arborist Society and the NRA.

He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He would do anything for his family. Orville enjoyed the outdoors; camping, fishing, hunting & horseback riding. He always loved to watch a good Western movie. He was quite the jokester, and always tried to make anyone around him better.

He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie Walker, Pocahontas, IL; children, Orville (significant other, Buffy) Walker, Pocahontas, IL, Deborah Walker, Florida, John Walker, Florida, Joyce (Rick) Parker, Pocahontas, IL; grandchildren, Andrew, Mason, Brittany, Dustin, Karissa, Tyler, Justin, Richelle, Travis, McKayla, Rachel, Bobby, Adam, and Amber; great grandchildren, Ethan, Avery, Harvey, Felicity, Isabel, Tara, Zander, Layla, Evan, Brayden, Elysia, Lilly, Kennedy, Emmit, Keanah, C.J., Bentley, Ezra, Aiden, Braiden, Kenzie, Colton; a brother, Lindell Walker, Pocahontas, IL; several nieces and nephews, Dianna, Alan, Linda, Patty, Celeste, Charlotte, Theresa, Charlie, Curtis, Tonya.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Nellie Walker; sisters, Ada Alspaugh and Andra Stucker; brother, Herschel Andrew Walker Jr., in infancy; nieces and nephews, Delilah, Lindell, Jr., Terry.
