Norman John Lorenz

Norman John Lorenz, 62, of West Salem, IL, passed from this life on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Carle Richland Hospital, Olney, IL.  He was born July 15, 1959, to Martin, Sr., and Barbara (Hiler) Lorenz in Fremont, MI.

Norman was an over the road truck driver and enjoyed driving.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved the cookouts every July when all of the kids came home for a few days.  Norman was the best grandfather and loved his grandchildren very much.  He loved old cars and working on them.  Norman would do anything for anyone that needed help.  He was loved very much and will be truly missed.

Norman was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Hiler-Mapes and brother James Allen Lorenz.

Left to cherish their memories of Norman are his father, Martin Lorenz, Sr., his wife, Toni Lorenz, daughters; Sunshine Lorenz, Jodie (Don) Barton, Katherine Lorenz-Mason, son Norman C. (Leah) Lorenz, granddaughters; Alishia (Zack) Campbell, Britany (Justin) Munn, Clorissa Miller, Divini Miller, Elana Miller, Haily Mason and Kadence Lorenz, grandsons; Ajay Barton, Karsten Lorenz and Leo Mason, great-grand daughters; Meah and Carly Campbell, bothers; Martin Lorenz and Melvin Feole, Sisters; Dorene Lorenz, Lisa (Mike) InSaloco, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes Norman is being cremated.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Forever loved papa, poppy, grandpa, dad.
