Norma Jean Tilson

Norma Jean (nee Carson) Tilson, 86, of Highland, IL, died Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Barnes Hospital, surrounded by her family.

She was born February 7, 1933, to Warren and Grace (nee Torrence) Carson, in Granite City, IL. On October 27, 1950, she married Paul Tilson in Granite City, IL.

Norma enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a homemaker and raised her family.

She is survived by her Children, Deborah Jean (John) Underwood, Granite City, IL, Dennis Paul (Judy) Tilson, Granite City, IL, Donna Rose Zion, Portage, IN, David Brian (Kathy) Tilson, Highland, IL; 21 Grandchildren; 21 Great grandchildren; Sister, Mary Noeth, Granite City, IL; Several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Warren and Grace Carson; Husband, Paul Tilson; Daughter, Darla Urankar; Brothers, Howard Carson, Sam Carson; Sisters, Evelyn Short, Janie Patton, Maude Grady.

Graveside Service: Tuesday, July 2, 2019, 11:00 am, Sunset Hills Cemetery, Glen Carbon, IL.
