Nancy L. Wood

Nancy L. Wood, 75, of Staunton, IL, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Staunton Community Hospital, in Staunton, IL.

She was born on January 11, 1948, in Murphysboro, IL, to Monroe and Lucy (nee Marshal) Reeder. On November 30, 1981, she married the love of her life, Albert Wood.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Lucy Reeder; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Albert Wood; children, Ryan Edwards, Rebecca Hartsook, Steven Wood; grandchildren, Jonathan Hartsook, Kyle Hartsook, Kaitlyn Edwards, Devon Edwards; sisters, Donna Durer, Selina Paskiewicz, Tracy Teeters, Wynona Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made out to the St. Jude’s Hospital.

Visitation: Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.
