Myrna Leckrone

Myrna Leckrone, born January 29, 1936, to Marie Thompson of Rinard, Illinois, has gone home to be with the Lord. 

Raised on a farm surrounded by a large extended family, Myrna later married John Gill. She joined him at Fort Benning, Georgia, during his Army service, where she gave birth to her daughter, Vicki.

Myrna later worked as a bookkeeper, married Sherrell Leckrone, and lovingly cared for her ailing mother. Following her mother’s passing, Myrna moved to Southern California to be with Vicki and her sons. She worked at the Jesus Film Project for many years.

A faithful servant of God, Myrna loved gardening, crocheting, her cat, and enjoying sweets.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki; her sons, Daniel and Michael (Kate); and her great-granddaughter, Presley, the love of her life. Myrna is now resting peacefully in God’s eternal, loving arms.
