Mirijana Ladavac

Mirijana (nee Drandic) Ladavac, 74, of Highland, Illinois, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at St. Louis University Hospital.

Mirijana was born May 31, 1943, to Joseph and Foska (nee Buric) Drandic, in Borovo, Croatia. On June 10, 1967, she married Darko Ladavac in Cleveland, OH.

She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, and the Highland Civic Women’s Club. Mirijana volunteered at Highland Elementary School and spent a lot of time on Kids Drug Awareness.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, painting, gardening, and travelling.

She is survived by her husband, Darko Ladavac, Highland, IL; children, Suzana Kostanjsek, Highland, IL, and Abbey (Ted) Klaus, Highland, IL; grandchildren, Parker and Jayden Coppedge, Vedrana (Clinton) Burr, Bianca (Jon) Gonzales, Savannah Hyde; great grandchildren, Amelia Gonzales, Isaac Gonzales, Aiden Burr; sisters, Vera (Boris) Vidmar, Croatia, and Nada (Sasa) Radovic, Croatia; Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Foska Drandic.

Visitation: Friday, June 23, 2017, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, June 23, 2017, 11:00 am, at St. Paul Catholic Church.

Clergy: Rev. Fr. Pat Jakel, Pastor.

Interment: At a Later Date.
