Mary O. Williams

Mary O. Williams, 84, of Flora, IL passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at Flora Gardens Care Center.

Mary was born December 30, 1937, to Clarence and Juanita (Grandon) Shehorn at Rinard, IL.  She married Robert W. (Bob) Williams May 14, 1954, at Rinard, IL and he preceded her in death February 12, 2018.

Mary worked for International Shoe Company at Flora, IL, bakery at Big John in Flora, IL and later worked in Environmental Services at Clay County Hospital at Flora, IL.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and camping.

Mary is survived by three daughters; Diana (Cory) Adams of Normal, IL, Debbie (Robert) Pearce of Cisne, IL and Denise Williams of Chicago, IL; two sons David Williams of Salem, IL, and Darren (Sara) Williams of Flora, IL; seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Danny, two infant grandsons, and three sisters Gladys Jones, Kathryn McElhattan, and Betty Shehorn.

Graveside service will be 10:00am Friday, April 29, 2022, at Bunker Cemetery at Rinard, IL.  Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
