Mary Hustava

Mary Hustava, 87, of Pocahontas, IL, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Eden Village Care Center, Glen Carbon, IL.

Mary was born January 27, 1927 to Paul and Mildred (Nee Paluda) Hustava.

Mary was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Pocahontas, IL.  She was Nurse Anesthetist and worked at St. Mary’s Hospital, Clayton, MO before moving over to Firmin Desloge Hospital (now St. Louis University Hospital) for many years.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, John Hustava, Robert Hustava, Mary Ann Arand, David Hustava, Steve Hustava, John Hustava, Katherine Hustava, Susan Wyper, Paul Hustava; several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mildred Hustava; 4 brothers, Gasper, Paul, Steve, John Hustava; 1 sister, Mildred Hustava.

Visitation: Thursday, July 3, 2014, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and Friday, July 4, 2014, from 8:00 to 10:00 am, at Meridith Funeral Home, Pocahontas, IL

Funeral: Friday, July 4, 2014 at 10:00 am at Meridith Funeral Home, Pocahontas, IL.

Clergy: Fr. Scott Snider, Parochial Vicar, St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Pocahontas, IL
