Marvin “Marv” Englert, 79, of Lebanon, IL, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Lebanon Care Center, Lebanon, IL.
Marv was born December 23, 1935, to Clemens and Evelyn (Nee Smith) Englert. On April 23, 1988, he married Marilyn Meyer, in St. Louis, MO.
Marvin was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lebanon, IL. He loved gardening, hunting, and fishing. He served in the Navy for 8 years and retired as an Air Force Contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Meyer, Lebanon, IL; 2 sons, Marvin (Kyle) Englert, Georgia, Mark (Cindy) Englert, North Carolina; 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson, and 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clem and Evelyn Englert; 1 brother; 1sister.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Church, Lebanon, IL, or Heartland Hospice.
Graveside Service: Wednesday, January 28, 2015, 11:00 am, at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.
