Marjorie “Marge” Ann Hedrick

MARJORIE ANN HEDRICK, 84, of Mt. Erie, Illinois passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at Flora Gardens in Flora, Illinois.

Marge was born April 8, 1934, to James Samuel Lewis and Hazel A. (Trotter) Shannon in Mt. Erie.  She married James Hedrick on June 17, 1952, in Mt Erie, and he survives.

Marge was a homemaker and worked the farm with her husband. She was a member of the West United Methodist Church in Mt. Erie.

Marge is survived by her husband of 66 years, James Hedrick of Mt. Erie, Illinois; two daughters Nancy (Scott) Schneider of Edwardsville and Kathy Saxe of Mt. Erie, Illinois; one son, Randy (Cindy) Hedrick of Mt Erie; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four sisters Gladys Lambrich of Glen Carbon, Illinois, Mary Lou Simpson of Fairfield, Illinois, Betty Enlow of Mt. Erie, Illinois and Peggy Watson of Edwardsville, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Joyce Madding.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at McKendree Cemetery near Mt. Erie, Illinois.

Memorials may be directed to the West United Methodist Church in Mt. Erie.
