Marjorie Crews

Marjorie Mae Crews, 87, of Highland, IL died Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Highland Health Care Center, Highland, IL.

Marjorie was born February 10, 1929 to William and Elva (nee Simpson) Morris, in Clarence, MO.

She was dedicated to her family and was always there for her sons. Marjorie had a big heart and loved to help people. She was an avid cook and she loved to fish. She was self-motivated, working three jobs, her favorite was selling shoe laces to the St Louis Rams and St Louis Blues. Marjorie loved her cats and long drives down the River Road.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Elva Morris; a sister, Nettie Padgett.

Marjorie is survived by her children, William (Kim) Crews, Longmont, CO, Larry (Cindy) Crews, Highland, IL; grandchild, Crystal Marie Crews; and her beloved cats, Lucy and Sammy.

Visitation: Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Meridith Funeral Home, HIghland, IL
