Marilyn C. Rutherford

Marilyn C. Rutherford, 92, of Freeburg, IL, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Freeburg Care Center.

She was born on March 11, 1934, in Germantown, IL, to Alphonse and Catherine (nee Korte) Hemann.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Alphonse and Catherine Hemann; first husband, Merhl Myers; second husband, Duane Rutherford; sons, Gary Myers and Tom Myers; grandchildren, Stephanie, Nicole, and Tom, Jr.; sister, Helen Neff; brothers-in-law, Bud Neff, Stan Hopfinger, and Dick Tjaden.

She is survived by her children, Brad (Jennifer) Myers and Elaine (Seth) Speiser Myers; grandchildren, Andrew, David, Suzanne, Ryan, Emily, Abbigail, Mitchell, Tracy, Kimberly, and Kelley; sisters, Marcie Hopfinger, Betty Tjaden, and Cathy (Joe) Carpenter; multiple great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
