Maria Encarnacao Andrade Silveira

Maria Andrade Silveira, 90, of Highland, IL, formerly of San Jose, CA, died Thursday, Mar. 19, 2020, at Faith Care Center, Highland, IL, surrounded by her family.

Maria was born Mar. 13, 1930 to Alfredo and Augusta (Nee Moura) De Andrade, in Flores Island, Acores, Portugal.

She was raised a Roman Catholic, God loving woman with a humble and kind heart to all. Always had an extra place at the table for anyone. When someone was down she always lent a hand to help them up. She taught her children to do the same. They are honored to call her mother!

Maria was the mother of 7 children, survived by 3, Alvarina Alernaz, Ludgero Medeiros, Connie Hammond.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo and Augusta De Andrade; children, Liduina Medeiros, Liliana Medeiros, Ilidio Medeiros.
