Margaret Rose Combs

Margaret Rose Combs, 69, of Mt. Erie, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at her home.

Margaret was born March 22, 1952, at Granite City, Illinois to Donald and Myrtle (Stallings) Sisson.  She married Harry Combs.

Margaret was a registered nurse having worked for nursing homes in Edwardsville, Illinois area at least thirty-five years.  She loved to fish.

Margaret is survived by her husband Harry of Mt. Erie, Illinois; two sons Steve Blackmon of Shelbyville, Illinois and Arsby Blackmon of Alton, Illinois; one sister Mary Evans of Troy, Illinois and one brother Charles (Diane) Sisson of Lynnville, Tennessee.  Also surviving are three grandchildren Albert, Cheyenne, and Kingston and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, first husband Albert Blackmon, three sisters Ruth McNeely, Barbara Huston, and Linda Westbrook, and two brothers Donald Sisson, Jr., and John Sisson.

Cremation rites were accorded.  A private family service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be given to the family for funeral expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
