Lowell G. Burger, 80, of Lebanon, IL died August 25, 2008 at his residence.  He was born March 16, 1928 in Lebanon, IL to George and Effie (Boggy) Burger, and they are both deceased.  He married Patricia A. Burk, July 27, 1957 at St. Joseph Church in Lebanon, IL.

Survived by his wife - Patricia Burger, Lebanon, IL; 1 daughter - Deborah (Barry) Copelin - O'Fallon, IL; 4 Sons - Lowell (Shirley) Burger, Jr. Lebanon, IL; Jamie (Teresa) Burger - Lebanon, IL; William (Karla) Burger, Lebanon, IL; Stephen (Heather) Burger - O'Fallon, IL; 7 Grandchildren - Lauren (Jason) Lamar, Bradley Copelin, Melissa Burger, Stephanie Copelin, Alex Burger, Jacob Burger, and Nicholas Burger.

He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, F.M.F. Atlantic; former Marine Sergeant with the Second Marine Division.  He was employed by various Financial Institutions in Belleville, IL;  He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Lebanon, IL; St. Clair County Bar Association, and on the Board of the Salvation Army.

FUNERAL MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL - August 28, 2008 @ 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Lebanon, IL with Fr. Gene Neff officiating, and burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.

Memorials may be offered to St. Joseph Church or St. Jude's Hospital.
