Lou Ann “Sue” Hubbard, 85, of Highland, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at HSHS St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.
She was born on July 10, 1939, in Granite City, IL, to Lando “Pete” and Captola “Tolley” (nee Blankenship) Limberg. On May 16, 1955, she married Daniel Hubbard, Sr., in St. Charles, MO.
Sue was a member of the First Baptist Church in Highland, IL. She was one of the best mothers anyone could have asked for. A very caring, kind, and sharing woman, Sue loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lando “Pete” and Captola “Tolley” Limberg; husband, Daniel Hubbard, Sr.; brother, Ralph Limberg; and brother-in-law, Gus Koester.
Sue is survived by her son, Dan (Peggy) Hubbard, Jr., of Highland, IL; grandchildren, Daniel G. (Dawn) Hubbard, III, Douglas Wayne (Stephanie) Hubbard, Derrek (fiancé, Angibell Rondon) Hubbard, Renee (James) Hooton, and Connie (Lance) Litteken; great grandchildren, Caleb, Karlie, Kallie, Lucas, Alyson, Payton, and Dawson; sister, Dee Koester; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church in Highland, IL.
