Lois M. Christensen

Lois M. Christensen (Works), 84, of Albion, IL passed from this earthly life on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Meadow Brook Nursing home in Grayville, IL.

She was born April 22, 1937, in McAllen, TX to Melvin and Bernice (Harris) Works.  Lois married Tom Christensen and he preceded her in death.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Albion.

Lois was a member of the Albion Square Dance Club and enjoyed traveling.  She liked gardening and liked to sew a little bit and really enjoyed taking care of her flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Bernice Works; her husband, Tom Christensen; sister, Margaret Wooley.

Surviving are sons, Jeff (Regina) Winter, Fairfield, IL, Greg (Chris) Winter, Ellery, IL; grandchildren, Lisa Brennan, Phillip (Amy) Winter, Brian (Mariah) Winter, Jason (significant other, Crystal) Winter, Lauren (Lucas) Griswold, Ryan (Mandi) Winter; 14 great-grandchildren.

Graveside Service:  Monday, December 6, 2021, 10:00 a.m., Graceland Cemetery, Albion, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Graceland Cemetery.

Interment:  Graceland Cemetery, Albion, IL.
