Lloyd H. Waters, 89, of Ellery, IL, passed from this life to the next on Saturday May 7, 2022, at Wabash Christian Village, Carmi, IL. He was born January 4, 1933, to Robert M. and Annie B. (Chalcraft) Waters in Ellery, IL. Lloyd married Wilma Warren, September 22, 1954, in Ft. Lewis, WA

Lloyd was a member of the Ellery Christian Church. He had been a member of the Pork Producers, served on the board of the Oil Belt Christian Service Camp and was a 4H leader. He was a faithful person and a very hard-working man and loved his family and God. He always had a smile.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Annie Waters; wife, Wilma Waters; in-laws Wendell and Olive Warren; sister-in-laws, Clella Waters, Nadine Warren; brother-in-laws, Gerald Kimbrell, Lonnie Bailey and Carl Warren.

He is survived by his children, Janet (Burl) Pettigrew, Ellery, IL, Kenneth Waters, Nashville, TN, Carl (Patricia) Waters, Ellery, IL, Ronald Waters, Las Vegas, NV, Steven (Tina) Waters, Flora, IL; grandchildren Amy May, Albion, IL, Crystal (Nathan) Gabbard, DeMossville, KY, Dakota (Jenny) Pettigrew, Poseyville, IN; five great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; siblings Charles Waters, Albion, IL, Ruth Kimbrell, Bloomington, IN, Linda Bailey, Bloomington, IN, Francis (Rosalie) Waters, Browns, IL; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
