Linda Louise George

Linda Louise George, 61, of Maryville, IL, departed this earth on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Elmwood Nursing Home, Maryville, IL.

Linda was a music lover; with one of her favorite musicians being Pink.  Pink embodied the fierce and independent woman that she was. Linda was hilarious and a huge practical joker. She loved animals, having many pets throughout her life, which she now joins in heaven. Her chihuahua Rocko was her companion until the end. She loved her family fiercely, especially her grandson...the sun rose and set in his eyes. We were her angels on earth and now she is ours.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, James Dudley George; stepfather, Ted Miller; great-grandmother, Essie Mae Vines; grandson, Leo Erickson.

Linda is survived by daughter: Jayme (Jacob) Erickson; grandson: Oskar Erickson; mother, Louise Westerheide; stepfather, Charles Westerheide; grandmother, Sylvia Fresen; siblings, Laura Lynn Rose, James Dudley George, Jr.; nieces and nephews, James Dudley George, III, Megan Erwin and Reagan Rose; and her dear chihuahua Rocko.
