Leroy E. Clark

Leroy E. Clark, 75, of Highland, IL, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Leroy was born Nov. 26, 1942, to Teddy and Elsia (Nee Blackford) Clark in Noble, IL. On June 24, 1967 he married Carol Misegades at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Olney, IL.

He was a member of American Legion Post 439, Highland, IL. He liked to hunt and fish, a regular outdoorsman. He was a fun-loving guy who loved to tell jokes, and have a good time. Leroy like to work with his hands and do woodworking. He loved family get-togethers, loved his nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and treated them like his grandchildren. He relished the joy he brought to them with his woodworking talents.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Elsia Clark.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Clark, Highland, IL; daughter, Amber (Eric) Olson, Trenton, IL; brothers and sisters, Richard (Carolyn) Clark, Noble, IL, Merle (Becky) Clark, Paris, IL, Loleta (Doc) Yonaka, Parkersburg, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to American Legion Post 439 or American Cancer Society.
