Lee Ann Woolen

Lee Ann Woolen (Nee Briley), 56, of Pocahontas, IL, died Thursday, December 13, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Lee Ann was born December 17, 1955 to Henry and Della Mae (Nee La Brock) Briley, in E. St. Louis, IL. On June 14, 1975 she married Steven E. Woolen, Sr., in Caseyville, IL.

She worked for several years as a printer of pictures at CPI in St. Louis, MO. She loved being around her children and grandchildren.

Lee Ann is survived by her husband, Steve Woolen, Sr.; 3 children, Steven (Stacy) Woolen, Jr. of Eminence, IN, Eric Woolen of Pocahontas, IL, Donald (Amber) Woolen of Granite City, IL; 4 grandchildren, Dylan, Justin, Jesse, Ryan Woolen; 3 brothers, Jerry (Pat) Briley, Tom (Sandy) Briley, Wayne (Jackie) Briley; 1 sister, Joyce (Richard) Sullivan and several nieces and nephews.

Lee Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Henry, Della Mae Briley and 1 sister, Judith Sanders.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 16, 2012, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, December 17, 2012, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Meridith Funeral Home in Pocahontas, IL.

Interment: Immediately following visitation on Monday at Robinson Cemetery.
