Kevin Kleinik

Kevin Kleinik, 48, of Grantfork, IL, died Friday, March 25, 2016, at St. Joseph Hospital, Highland, IL.

Kevin was born September 7, 1967, to Berthel and Barbara Ann (nee Busch) Kleinik in Greenville, IL.

He was a great brother, dad, and grandpa; loved his family very much. He was outgoing, jokester, always a smile on his face, and never knew a stranger.  He loved motorcycles, NASCAR, and the St. Louis Blues hockey.  He played washers and pool.  Kevin was a dad to everybody.

He is survived by his children; Joshua (Nikki Wolf, girlfriend) Kleinik, Highland, IL, Tyler Kleinik, Highland, IL, Nicole (Derick Handegan, Boyfriend) Kreiter, Belleville, IL, and Ashley Brooks, Highland, IL; grandchildren, Lorelei Kineke, Josephine Kleinik, Cameron and Jillian Kreiter, Colin Brooks; sisters, Paula (Terry) Lloyd, Greenville, IL, and Sandy (Rockie) Miller, Hillsboro, IL; brothers, Jeff (Brenda) Kleinik, Pocahontas, IL, and David Kleinik, Pocahontas, IL; best friend, Lou; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Berthel and Barbara Ann Kleinik.

Visitation: Tuesday, March 29, 2016, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm, at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.

Interment: At a later date.
