Kevin A. Phelps

Kevin A. Phelps, 43, of Marine, IL, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Kevin was born January 14, 1972, to Arty and Marjorie (nee Wilhelm) Phelps, Jr., in Belleville, IL.

He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marine, IL. Kevin had a heart of gold. He loved sports—a huge St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved his family, especially his daughters. He liked working in sales, whether it was selling cars or selling phones. He loved life.

He is survived by his parents, Arty and Marjorie Phelps, Marine, IL; fiancé, Chris Kendall, Marine, IL; children, Christina and Madilyn Phelps; step-children, Ashley, Robbie, and Chris Williams, Alex Kendall; sister, Lisa Ann Phelps; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Kevin’s Children’s Education Fund.

Visitation: Thursday, December 10, 2015, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday, December 11, 2015, from 8:00 to 11:00 am, at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.

Funeral: Friday, December 11, 2015, at 11:00 am, at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.
