Kenneth W. “Kenny” Daugherty

Kenneth W. “Kenny” Daugherty, 52, of West Salem, IL passed from this life on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born March 3, 1969, Olney, IL to Kenneth Wayne Daugherty and Karen “Sue” (Cash) Daugherty. Kenny married Tammy Harris on April 2, 1994, at the Nazarene Church in Mt. Erie, IL and she survives.

He worked at Champion Laboratories for about 32 years. Kenny was a hard worker and had many friends. He loved his family especially his granddaughter, Dehlylah. Kenny liked Ford cars and trucks and motorcycles. He was just a good ole boy, and would help anyone who needed a hand, putting everyone before himself.

Kenny is survived by his wife Tammy Daugherty, West Salem, Mother; Sue Daugherty, West Salem, son; Nic Daugherty, Fairfield, IL, granddaughter; Dehlylah Daugherty, Sister; Marci (Calvin) Embry, Wayne City, IL, niece; Candace Embry, nephew; Cody (Caileigh) Embry.

He was preceded in death by his father Kenny Daugherty.

Visitation will be Friday October 15, 2021, from 12:00 noon to 2 p.m. at Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home, West Salem, IL.

Interment in Bridgeport City Cemetery, Bridgeport, IL following visitation service.
