Rev. Dr. Kenneth O. Mesle, of Glen Carbon, IL., passed away on Dec. 19, 2012 at the age of 83.
Dr. Mesle was born 9/26/29 in St. Louis, MO.
He is survived by his cherished wife of 60 years: Joy Harper Mesle; loving children Deborah Brendel (Doug), Jeanne Bair (Bill), Kenneth Mesle (Kim), and Andrew Mesle (Merissa) and grandchildren Carrie Andreas (Bryan), Kenneth O. Mesle II, Douglas Brendel( Jen), Timothy Bair (Shelly), Merideth Bair, Christiana, Blase, Morgan, and Parker Mesle. Great-Grandfather “Poppy” to Amira and Jax Andreas.
Dr. Mesle was an ordained United Church of Christ minister for over 60 years. He served churches in Ohio, Illinois, Missouri and Florida.
Visitation: from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. January 19, 2013, at Friedens United Church of Christ.
A celebration of his life service at 2:00pm, at Friedens United Church of Christ, Troy, IL.
Reverend Cindy Bumb, and Rev. Chuck Mize will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Friedens Church, Habitat for Humanity, or Vitas Hospice.
