Kathleen A. Backstrom

Kathleen A. Backstrom, 73, of Buckeye, AZ passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, in Goodyear, AZ.

Kathleen was born January 11, 1949, to Frank and Eleanor McCauley, in Chicago, IL.  She married Lauren Dewey Backstrom October 16, 1969, in Chicago, IL.  He preceded her in death June 22, 2007.

Kathleen was an office manager and a housewife.

She is survived by three daughters, Johanna Kane, Camden, TN, Iris (David) Rygulan, Pelkie, MI, Dawn Cadena, Buckeye, AZ; one son, Phillip Backstrom, Cottonwood, AZ; brothers, Frank (Flo) McCauley, Chicago, IL,  Tom McCauley, of AZ; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Dorothy Fisher.

Memorials may be directed to the family for funeral expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Graveside Service: Saturday, April 30, 2022, 11:00 am, at Cisne Cemetery.  (Everyone attending is asked to go directly to the cemetery.)
